This is a free family-friendly community event that is open to the public -- free admission, free parking, and free live music and entertainment all day including a special performance by award-winning Arm-of-the-Sea Theater.
Kids of all ages are encouraged to enjoy many FREE CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES, GAMES AND CRAFTS while earning stamps on their “Passport to Fun.” Face painting and other activities will be available for purchase as well. Joining us again this year is OCWA’s very own Mrs. Mud, the Hudson Highland Nature Museum, Free Spirit Nature Camp and other environmental educators. Pet the baby goats, turtles and other cute critters, play games, and have lots of fun. Warning to parents: a gravitational pull happens when kids see the Snakeman. Children are encouraged to get in close and hold the snakes while their parents squirm as they try to get close enough to take a picture of their adventurous kids (a festival favorite and must see).
As if this wasn't enough, visitors can peruse over 60+ VENDORS’ BOOTHS. Visit the many GREEN VENDORS and learn from many local companies and groups how they are making a difference by being "green" or what sustainable goods and services are available to help you save money with energy efficient improvements, solar demonstrations and more. Purchase FARM PRODUCTS and scrumptious food and tasty treats made by local restaurants and fabulous festival FOOD VENDORS. And that's not all. Visitors will also find a wide variety of artisan crafts, clothing, henna, homemade organic products, jewelry, and so much more.
