Adam Powers, of Village Billiards in Warwick NY, is pleased to present an art exhibition featuring the works of artist Nanette Hoey. When a flash of inspiration arrives, Nanette Hoey follows it. Of her work, Nanette says, “I cannot ignore the desire to be constantly creating when I am surrounded by such diverse talent here in the Hudson Valley.”
For this collection, Nanette combines her fascination with interpreted imagery known as inkblots. Each person has a unique experience and there is no wrong interpretation. Hoey says, “I want everyone to have their own experience and share it with others.” Hoey hopes this collection forces the visitor to step away from logic and instead embrace and encourage a more creative conversation based on what is in front of them.”
Opening night reception is being held Friday November 4th from 7pm-10pm. The complete collection will remain on display for the duration of the month.
Enjoy a great night of art interpretation and conversation with live music by Brian Tice & John Bendy from 8pm – 11pm.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artwork will go to the Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning. www.wfelny.org
