DESCRIPTION:APPLEFEST - A great family festival!\n\n\n\nOn Sunday\, October 5 from 10 am to 5 pm\, the Town of Warwick will welcome an estimated 35\,000 visitors to the 26th  annual Applefest.\n\n\n\nThis year the festival will host over 240 craft and food vendors\, a variety of free live stage performances including music\, theatre and dance groups\, rides\, games and amusements for children\, and an apple pie baking contest.\n\n\n\nFamilies can also enjoy rides\, games\, music and food PRIOR to Applefest when The Warwick Valley Community Center hosts two fun Carnival evenings on Friday\, Oct. 3 and Saturday\, Oct.4 from 4-10 p.m. at Stanley-Deming Park in the Village.\n\n\n\nThe Applefest 2014 Visitors' Guide will be posted on the website in September\, and distributed free on the day of the event. The 28-page booklet contains schedules of Applefest events\, transportation information\, directories for craft/food vendors and u-pick apples\, as well as a user-friendly map of the festival area. (Last year's '13 Visitors' Guide is currently posted for reference.)\n\n\n\nProduced by The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Warwick Valley Community Center\, Applefest is a major fundraiser.
