DESCRIPTION:The inaugural "Community Appreciation Day" at Merchant Square Mall on Ronald Reagan Blvd. in Warwick\, NY is planned for Saturday\, August 10\, rain or shine.\n\n From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. participating merchants and restaurants will display available sale items\, free samples and product demonstrations along the mall sidewalk. Select businesses will be raffling off gift certificates and merchandise to benefit the Warwick Valley Humane Society and restaurants will offer lunch specials:\n\n \n 11 a.m. 3 p.m. Merchant Sidewalk Sale\; Product Demonstrations\; Raffles (11a.m. 2p.m. signup)\; Samples & Lunch Specials\n \n 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Pet Fitness Demonstration courtesy of CKO Kickboxing\n \n 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch specials at Tulcingos\, Benitos and Long Spring.\n\n\n \n 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Science Lab Slime Making Workshop at Apple Valley Pharmacy\n \n 1:30 p.m. Raffle Winners Announcement under the tent\n \n 2 p.m. 3 p.m. "Tails of Talent" Dog Talent Contest: Can your dog dance\, skateboard\, sing or do tricks beg\, roll over or twist. Then enter them into the "Tails of Talent" contest for the chance to win a fantastic prize (courtesy of Jockey Hollow Verternary Hospital and Orchard Grove ) & earn the title of Merchant Square's Most Talented Dog. The contest is open to all dogs and there is no entry fee.
