LOCATION:During the Month of APRIL Our local and neighboring towns and villages will be participating along with businesses and groups by displaying ORANGE Painted or Decal Cling Ribbons on their storefronts.homes\, mailboxes as well as wearing ORANGE LAPEL RIBBONS $1.00 Each and BRACELETS $3.00 Each * * in support of the Warwick Valley Humane Society's "See Something\, Say something" campaign. ** FRIDAY APRIL 10th The Warwick Valley Humane Society will be presented with the Proclamation at the 911 Emergency Services Command Center from Orange County EXECUTIVE NEUHAUS. Animal cruelty and neglect occurs in all social\, economic and cultural denominations and is a valuable predictor of present and future violent individuals. It is a misdemeanor and/or felony crime in New York State and includes animal abandonment. The Warwick Valley Humane Society is committed to assisting Local\, County and State Law Enforcement agencies in the alleviation\, investigation and prosecution of any and all suspected animal abuse. "See their suffering\, hear their cries\, be their voice! Suspected animal cruelty or neglect can be reported to the WVHS confidential telephone line at 845-987-SEEN (7336) or to local Police. ** Orange bracelets and ribbons may be purchased at the Warwick Valley Humane Society 12 to 4pm 7days a week to benefit The Princess Fund\, in memory of "Princess"\, a once 80 lb. St. Bernard who was starved until she froze to death weighing only 30 lbs. The Princess Fund helps animal victims of abuse and neglect.
