About Us

We are a bird and wildlife conservation organization. We steward 5 bird & wildlife sanctuaries in Orange County, NY including 3 in Warwick. We curate monthly programs, mostly at local libraries, and we lead several birding field trips each season. All are open to the public and listed on our website. We create presentations about bird identification, bird photography, and native plant gardening for birds, pollinators, and climate that libraries, schools, businesses and organizations can book. We also coordinate a Christmas Bird Count and other community science projects. We are a Member Chapter of the National Audubon Society. We are supported by donations and volunteers. Our nickname is "OCAS." Membership is available through our website www.OrangeCountyAudubonSociety.org
