About Us
The non-profit Warwick Hope Chest at 90 North Main Street in Florida, New York is a ministry of ‘Shared Ministries of Hope’, a non-for-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status.
The Warwick Hope Chest is an outreach program run by volunteers serving the community by providing donated new and gently used children’s, women’s and men’s clothing in the Thrift Boutique. The proceeds generated support The Clothing Closet, Warwick’s free clothing bank which has distributed over $500,000 worth of free clothing to local families. Excess funds are funneled back into the community by the Board of Shared Ministries of Hope – Some recipients have been Warwick’s Ecumenical Council, Warwick Area Farmworkers Organization, Warwick Immigrant Neighbors, Warwick’s Knights of Columbus, Senior Picnics, Rotary and Lions Clubs as well as County organizations, Fearless and HONOR.
