Students will learn:
- How to make royal icing to decorate cookies, cupcakes and cakes
- How to achieve different consistencies of royal icing
- How to color royal icing
- Use of edible powder colors versus edible gel colors
- Basic piping techniques
- Basic painting techniques
- Flooding technique
- Chef Greeley will also share her sugar cookie recipe and will demonstrate her techniques to properly make the dough. A discussion on proper ways to bake sugar cookies will be made
