1st Annual PINK FRIDAY

The Warwick Merchants Guild is excited to announce that they will be hosting their First Annual Pink Friday on October 19th, 2012. This event is sponsored by the Bon Secours Charity Health System.  Pink Friday will follow the successful format as the Merchant Guild's very popular Ladies Night Out event, although a significant aspect of this day is to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.  Participating shops and restaurants will be donating a percentage ofthe day's proceeds to Miles Of Hope, a nonprofit charity that provides funding to other non-profit organizations for support services and outreach for people affected by breast cancer in the Hudson Valley.

Besides the many colorful shops and quality eateries in Warwick participating in Pink Friday, offering special discvounts, promotions and other "freebies", there will also be several dozen street vendors lined up and down our Main Street and on Railroad Avenue.  You can expect to see local hair salons providing makeovers and eyebrow threading, massages and henna tattoos!  Alsoon the Railroad Green there will be a lineup of dance performances and fitness demonstrations.  Expect a troup of Belly Dancers in full garb!  Pole Dancing!!!  and more.
