On Saturday, April 27th at the parking lot adjacent to the Caboose, various programs will be offered. Between 9:00am – 12:00pm, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence will be collecting used cell phones and the Warwick Valley Coalition will be hosting an unused prescription pill drop-off in conjunction with the DEA between 9:00am – 12:00pm. Also, the Warwick Lions Club will host old eyeglass and hearing aid collection as well as a shredding truck in the South Street parking lot between 9:30am – 12:30pm. There is a suggested $5 donation per box or bag. Businesses, organizations and individuals with large shredding amounts are encouraged to pre-schedule their drop-off time by calling Sara Werling at 845-986-1177 ext. 302. Programs offered offsite include electronics recycling at The Computer Guy at 2 Overlook Drive and motor oil collection and recycling at Leo Kaytes Ford, 145 Route 94 South. Make sure to check the Chamber’s website for an updated list of Operation Clean Sweep programs closer to the weekend of the event.
