Applefest began in 1989 as a simple harvest celebration to support the Warwick Valley Community Center held in the village streets and parks of Warwick, located in the Hudson Valley of New York. The event is no co-produced by the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and has grown to become a major event in the mid-Hudson region with over 35,000 in attendance.
